These Terms govern your access to and use of the Tenanting platform — accounts, subscriptions, verification services, the vendor marketplace, AI-powered features, and how disputes are handled.

Welcome to Tenanting ("Tenanting", "we", "our", or "us").

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Tenanting Platform, including our website, mobile applications, software, APIs, communications, and all related services.

By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy, Payment Terms, Refund Policy and Grievance Redressal Policy, which together form the complete agreement between you and Tenanting.

Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms:

Platform
The Tenanting website, mobile applications, APIs, software and related services.
User
Any individual or entity accessing the Platform.
Owner
A property owner, co-owner, landlord or authorized representative.
Tenant
An existing or prospective occupant.
Vendor
Any independent service provider or business listed on the Platform.
Property Manager
An individual or organization managing properties using Tenanting.
Subscription
A paid plan purchased through the Platform.
Content
Information, documents, images, videos, text, reports and other material uploaded or generated through the Platform.
Verification Services
Identity verification, tenant verification, police verification assistance, employment verification, address verification, reference verification or similar services.

Eligibility

You may use the Platform only if:

  • You are legally capable of entering into binding contracts under applicable laws
  • Information provided by you is accurate and complete
  • You comply with these Terms and applicable laws

Organizations may authorize representatives to use the Platform on their behalf.

Tenanting provides technology solutions including but not limited to:

  • Property Management
  • Tenant Onboarding
  • Tenant Verification
  • Background Verification
  • Digital Document Management
  • Contact Management
  • Rent Tracking
  • Subscription Management
  • Vendor Marketplace
  • Property Maintenance
  • AI-powered insights
  • Reports and Analytics
  • Property Management Services
  • Future value-added services introduced by Tenanting

Certain services may require separate agreements or additional terms.

User Accounts

Users are responsible for:

  • Maintaining accurate account information
  • Safeguarding login credentials
  • All activities performed using their account
  • Promptly notifying Tenanting of unauthorized access

Users shall not:

  • Share accounts without authorization
  • Impersonate another person
  • Create fraudulent accounts
  • Use automated methods to create multiple accounts
Tenanting reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts involved in fraudulent or abusive activity.

Subscription Services

Certain Platform features require an active subscription.

Subscription plans, pricing, renewals, billing cycles and applicable charges are governed by the Payment Terms.

Access to premium services may be suspended upon subscription expiry or non-payment.

User Responsibilities

Users agree to:

  • Obtain all necessary permissions before uploading third-party information

Prohibited Activities

Users shall not:

  • Create duplicate accounts
  • Impersonate another individual or organization
Tenanting may suspend or permanently terminate accounts involved in prohibited activities.

Verification Services

Tenanting may facilitate:

  • Identity Verification
  • Tenant Verification
  • Employment Verification
  • Police Verification Assistance
  • Address Verification
  • Reference Verification
  • Document Validation

Verification results depend on available information, government records and third-party providers.

Tenanting does not guarantee:

  • Successful verification
  • Verification approval
  • Accuracy of government records
  • Future conduct of verified individuals
Verification reports are advisory and should not be considered legal, financial or professional advice.

Marketplace Services

Tenanting may provide access to independent vendors. Tenanting acts only as a technology platform connecting users with vendors.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Tenanting is not:

  • The supplier
  • Manufacturer
  • Installer
  • Service provider
  • Warranty provider

Vendor agreements remain solely between the customer and the vendor.

Physical Property Management

Where Tenanting offers physical property management:

  • Separate service agreements may apply
  • Service availability may depend upon location
  • Response times may vary
  • Third-party contractors may be engaged

Tenanting does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of field personnel.

AI-Powered Services

Tenanting may provide AI-assisted:

  • Summaries
  • Recommendations
  • Risk analysis
  • Document assistance
  • Operational insights

AI outputs:

  • Are informational only
  • Should be independently verified
  • May contain inaccuracies
  • Should not replace professional legal, financial or property advice
Users remain responsible for decisions taken based on AI-generated information.

User Content

Users retain ownership of the content they upload.

By uploading content, users grant Tenanting a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to:

  • Host
  • Process
  • Store
  • Display
  • Reproduce
  • Transmit

such content solely for providing Platform services.

Users represent that they possess all necessary rights to upload such content.

Intellectual Property

All Platform software, trademarks, branding, designs, source code, databases, reports, logos and content are owned by or licensed to Tenanting.

Users may not reproduce, modify, distribute or commercially exploit Platform materials without prior written consent.

Privacy

Collection, processing, storage and sharing of personal information is governed by the Privacy Policy.

Users acknowledge that certain personal information may be processed for:

  • Verification
  • Fraud prevention
  • Regulatory compliance
  • Customer support
  • Service delivery

Payments

All commercial terms relating to:

  • Subscriptions
  • Billing
  • Payment methods
  • Renewals
  • Taxes
  • Referral rewards

are governed by the Payment Terms.

Refunds

Refund eligibility, exclusions and processing are governed exclusively by the Refund Policy.

Referral Program

Tenanting may operate referral programs from time to time. Referral rewards:

  • Are promotional in nature
  • Have no monetary value unless expressly stated
  • May be modified or withdrawn at any time
  • Are governed by separate Referral Program Terms
Current referral benefits do not create a contractual right to future rewards.

Platform Availability

While Tenanting aims to provide uninterrupted services, the Platform may occasionally become unavailable due to:

  • Maintenance
  • Upgrades
  • Third-party outages
  • Force majeure events
  • Internet failures
  • Government actions

Tenanting does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

Third-Party Services

The Platform may integrate with:

  • Payment gateways
  • Government services
  • Verification agencies
  • Cloud providers
  • Mapping services
  • Communication providers
  • Analytics providers

Tenanting is not responsible for outages, delays or actions attributable to independent third parties.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tenanting disclaims all warranties, including implied warranties of:

  • Merchantability
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Uninterrupted availability
  • Non-infringement
  • Accuracy of third-party information

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tenanting shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect damages
  • Consequential losses
  • Loss of profits
  • Business interruption
  • Data loss
  • Reputational damage
  • Loss arising from reliance on AI-generated outputs
  • Actions of tenants, owners, vendors or third parties
  • Government decisions
  • Verification outcomes
Where liability cannot legally be excluded, Tenanting's aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user for the relevant service during the preceding twelve (12) months.

Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tenanting, its directors, employees, affiliates and partners against claims arising from:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Misuse of the Platform
  • Infringement of third-party rights
  • Unlawful activities
  • Inaccurate information supplied by the user

Suspension and Termination

Tenanting may suspend or terminate access where users:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Engage in fraud
  • Abuse referral programs
  • Misuse verification services
  • Upload unlawful content
  • Fail to pay applicable charges
  • Compromise Platform security

Termination does not affect accrued legal rights or payment obligations.

Force Majeure

Tenanting shall not be liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including:

  • Natural disasters

  • Riots
  • Strikes
  • Pandemics
  • Internet failures
  • Cyberattacks
  • Government actions
  • Power outages

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.

Subject to applicable consumer protection laws, courts having jurisdiction in Hyderabad, Telangana, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms.

Changes to these Terms

Tenanting may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect:

  • Introduction of new services
  • Changes to business practices

The updated Terms become effective upon publication unless otherwise specified.

Continued use of the Platform after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Payment Terms, Refund Policy, Grievance Redressal Policy and any service-specific agreements, constitute the entire agreement between Tenanting and the user concerning use of the Platform.
